"I was encouraged by the reviews that said this was place very good and very tasty. It's neither. Perhaps these people really do think this is good food? If so, they need to get out a bit more. The person from Utrecht who said it was on his blacklist has it right. Sparsely decorated and dominated by a large television with endless football matches on it it is unwelcoming. Perhaps they go for the large out of focus screen rather than the food? I asked to sit under a light so I could read. I was told 'NO', bluntly by the unsmiling woman who seemed to be the only waitress. The menu is limited to plain and simple food. Not necessarily a problem. I ordered Wiener schnitzel and was first served a small salad which included an overripe and dire-tasting slice of tomato. A glass of Coca Cola was served flat and at room temperature. At long last the weiner schnitzel arrived. A vast piece of tasteless schnitzel and over-salted 'fries' on a cold plate. I gave up three quarters of the way through - too much salt, too little taste and it had all gone cold. I ordered apfelstrudel. That took a while to arrive and when it did it was a small microwaved slice with some sort of custard, plus cream from a can and chocolate sauce. At least I hope it was chocolate sauce. All at room temperature again. You might expect to eat a dessert with a spoon. But no, here you have to make do with a fork. No spoons. Quite how you eat custard with a fork escapes me. To cap it all, I went to pay and was told cash only. This is perhaps the most technologically advanced country in Europe, its 2017 and they haven't got the technology of a card machine. To be fair they are not the only place that takes only cash. Fortunately I had just enough cash. I mildly suggested that this wasn't very good. An elaborate shrug of the shoulders and she walked away. Who cares? I'm just the customer. And then you walk outside through a fog of cigarette smoke. A dreadful experience. Since all my staff stay in the hotel nearby I will now warn them off and I will not go back there either."

"I love the sausage kitchen and come here regularly, summers and winters – especially with visitors from the outside. The place has existed for about 200 years and has been played for decades by the current host. I find it remarkable that even regionality is still being lived here: from Münsingen comes the Alb lamb, from Poltringen the greenery, from the Schwärzlocher Hof comes the Moscht. Those who like to eat deity-schwäbisch will feel at the right place here. The interiors are rustic and cosy, with wooden benches, wooden walls, old graphics and stitches, original lamps with twisted baskets as lampshades. On the outside you sit very nicely on benches, which are somewhat leaning on the slope and unfortunately sometimes slightly tilt (the background, including headstone paver, is easy to uneven . In the basement there is „S ́urige Stüble“, which is used by groups. Here you can get in touch with other guests very quickly and meet a true Potpourri of locals, reigschmeckten and tourists. During my last visit two days ago I arrived at 13:30, but fortunately the sausage kitchen has opened all the way and does not smile in the early afternoon. The beetles with side salads (11,90 were just as I like them: large portion, rich, with a rezensed cheese mix, very crusty and crispy and not at all fried in the pan. A topping of fresh vegetable strips (tube, celery, paprika, zucchini? and onions baked in fat. The supplemental salad was absolutely fresh and crisp and lush (mainly leaf salads and colorful paprika strips and radish slices. Only manko: the dressing was on the bottom of the bowl and only came through to the end. The cheap daily meal of my companion (Hacksteak with roast potatoes for 8.90 Euros, unfortunately, is unusually long. For so long that the extremely friendly service was repeatedly appeased and offered some bread against the worst hunger from itself (but we did not accept it). The chop steak was pleasantly fried, the roasted potatoes were heartily seasoned and very well roasted. You felt the freshness and authenticity of all ingredients here! With the nice side-seater (an elephant who lived in Tübingen for 40 years, by the way, we came into conversation very easily. The sausage kitchen has a pleasant regional selection of drinks, where beginners are usually happy with a fruity mustbowle. I like to drink wines from the Collegium Wirtemberg or from the Sonnenhof. Note: the offer of noble fires, where the walnut spirit should be tasted (remembers almost of intense Nutella . The service is light wax, attentive, loving, benevolent and fixed. Questions will be answered, even if you have to hook up with the cook. Also, the service repeatedly asks whether everything is right (and this is not a routine, but seriously meant. Due to its location and uneven access, the place is unfortunately not easy to reach for people with Handicap. Car drivers also find here (as almost everywhere in Tübingen no convenient parking right outside the door. For guests – also from abroad – the sausage kitchen is the hit. The map is held in Swabian, but signed in English."

"If you go to the Greeks in Germany, you can usually save the view of the menu.... Almost everywhere a Greek conspiracy is the same, always the same is offered in barely noticeable and tasty nuances... Gyros with mostly flaky pommes from the bag, with or without Tzatziki, dubious meat kewers, bifteki from dubious minced meat and the seemingly indestructible peas salad with hopefully still real sheep cheese. The coronation is then the always acidic herbal salad on thin slices of semi-white bread or oily wine leaves with tasteless rice pampering filling.... ... the pseudo culinary splendor is then also always filled with one to two ouzo, the acidic retsina or still dubious wine varieties such as Demestika Domestos... and mavrodaphne... Nix with: Greek wine is like the blood of the earth... In Tübingen, on the other hand, a small delicate flower of hope and bliss from the Greek all-time culinary hull has been blossoming for some time. In the south of the city, on the busiest federal road to Hechingen, the Meze Akadamie was created and has bitter resistance to the general harassment of the Greek cooking tradition! The name of fertilization is program because the variety of appetizers Meze is Legion and requires a longer study of potential pleasures and a heavy table discussion at the table that order what and how the others benefit from snacks. In the meantime, homemade lemonades can be ordered according to Cretan recipes for the abstinenzers or also the house wine in white, rosé or red. The lemonades are excellent, the wine offering is expected to work a little more according to my taste, although the house wine is quite positively ressonant.... The appetizers are simply great, but in the zeal of the purifying stomach should be held cool head with a view of a striking main dish, otherwise premature surrender of the still full plate threatens.... My favourite, the grilled sardines with sesame, is almost a main dish and the fluffy chickpeas with herbs garlic sauce are more bales than diminuting... also the freshly roasted potato slices with herbs have a high addiction factor! To the main course there were still fresh septia of red wine sauce with handmade? Sepien Couscous. The Couscous was pleasant for smearing as a warm lens salad and the Sepia were hauchzart. Enjoy! Also the chicken Brizola with orange sauce and potato / vegetables found undivided enthusiasm.... The ambience is pleasantly free from any Greece kitsch, but the alternative Landlust Folklore with the seasonal inexpressible Christmas stars is not every taste. The service is overly friendly and sometimes a little dreamy, only when the shop burns. On warmer days, an outdoor terrace could also be used in a convenient location. Parking spaces are however rough at any time. In a separate room small and light can be bought at noon or various Greek specialities such as olive oil. Overall a very pleasant enrichment of the Tübinger food facilities in the Hotspot Südstadt! Greetings from Schroeder"
