"Three of us went to lunch on a slow Saturday. We ordered an appetizer, a salad, a pasta dish and a meat dish and dessert and a cappuccino and a tea (and two alcoholic drinks). Our appetizer came out and then the two entrees arrived. The salad never arrived. When we mentioned it to the waiter, he asked if we wanted it to go........obviously not it was suppose to be part of the lunch and suppose to have come before the entrees. It was disappointing and what he said was interesting the kitchen made a mistake . No hint of an apology or taking ownership of the error. We may have ordered badly, as the chicken scaloppini was over a bed of spinach with SOOO much garlic. The spinach was like a mash of garlic, oil and some overly soggy spinach. It was nasty. The pasta was fine nothing special at all. The waiter, I think his name was Moe, did not describe any of the dishes, did not check back to ask if everything was ok. the best thing he did was when we ordered cheesecake for dessert, he asked if we wanted half or whole. That was great as we did not know that was an option. All in all, disappointing experience. I had high expectations and they were not met not great food, not great service and I even had to ask for a clean water glass as mine was dirty upon arrival. Live and learn."

"I'm sad to say I was a little bit disappointed. It was the San Gennaro festival and I originally had a Pulsed deal which they did not except on Sunday apparently (nowhere in the fin print did it say that so I guess they're just making up rules). The interior is absolutely beautiful and there is a lot of history in this restaurant as Frank Sinatra and the rat pack would eat here often after concerts. I ordered the chicken Parm since I was feeling pretty basic, and I substituted the potatoes and broccoli for spaghetti. It was OK, I just didn't love it. It's not something to rave about but in general I had a good dining experience. The staff were all great, and it was actually pretty dead, considering there was a festival outside but I guess maybe that's why it was dead. Either way not the most amazing food I've had but still good enough that I enjoyed 2 meals worth of leftovers! Little tip, if you go downstairs to the bathrooms, they are private bathrooms and I personally love that because privacy and cleanliness is everything!"

"It's been 8 months since I've been to Forlini's, and that's a sin. But the portions are so large that it only makes sense that I space my visits, right? RIGHT?Seriously, stop in for pasta I love their linguini and anything seafood.Friendly staff, full bar, old school Italian joint that's perfect for a family gathering, or even a date. Forlini's is a gem."
