"My family and I were visiting the area 2 weeks ago, from Nelson. We don’t have a burger fuel in our region so we wanted to give it a go before we came home. We were greeted and welcomed by Munish. We asked what he would recommend as we hadn’t tried anything on the menu before. We got everything he recommended, the American Muscle and the Bacon BBQ Roadster burgers… they were legit good! We got us some kumara fries and spud fries on the side with aioli, would definitely recommend both, but the kumara fries were next level! Thickshakes made with farmhouse milk, my only complaint about the thickshakes was that they’re not big enough, I wanted more! Thanks Munish, he was the only worker in store that day we visited, very friendly, made everything fresh, with a smile and good attitude, fast and efficient, good to see! Would definitely go back or recommend to anyone in the area. Go check it out!"

"As soon as we arrived we were made welcome, we were served by lauryn who was the perfect waitress throughout our visit. Our meal was outstanding especially my dessert of a knickerbocker glory. It was nice seeing the chefs behind their station looking so calm while working, the whole experience was amazing I'm a massive fan of James Martin so I couldn't resist buying one of his books that were on sale there."

"Great atmosphere and friendly staff. We went in with no real knowledge of beers but the staff was friendly and talked about a few choices and helped select some nice drinks. Finger food mostly on the menu. Tried the fried squid which was tasty. Cozy and casual atmosphere. Will definitely be back."

"Don't know why it's taken me so long to visit Little High, but oh my goodness, I'll be back. Huge delicious burgers (Big Jim is amazing!! And if you've debated getting the cauliflower.... my advice, DO IT!! Easily one of the most delicious things I've had. We'll be back!"

"Shirley bright pizza are always amazing. we've been ordering for years. the personal is so beautiful and always goes beyond and beyond. the pizza is always of good quality and has a large amount of toppings. they make the vegan sortiment exceptionally good in this hell. today I ordered and said in the notes, I have a cold, so please go to the door and they threw an additional snack pizza that is so friendly! thank you. light shirley team"

"A great road pub. Excellent spacious beer garden that the suns sets into. The food was fantastic I had the Chicken burger and my wife had the Lamb burger. Both were fantastic. Especially for the price. Even though the bar staff stated they had supply issues, they assisted us with recommendations for replacement drinks and were extremely accommodating. I would say the beer choice was lacking but due to the explanation I can't knock a star off for something that is completely out of the staffs control."
