"J's is your typical sports bar. The outside is unassuming and in a rougher part of town, but inside is very clean and new. I've been there a couple times for drinks and thought the service was fine. I haven't ordered food there, but have been with friends that did and the food looked delicious. Typical fried bar food like wings, onion rings, and fried pickles. I wouldn't quite classify this place as a dive bar, but it's close."

"I made a pick up order with door dash. I pulled through the drive through. The gentleman told me to come in and show them my order. No problem. I go inside and it seemed as if the people in the front were afraid to help me. I flag down a lady and asked her if she could help me. She WOULDNT even get close enough to me to look at my phone. Now I 'm looking around and I get it, I 'm black . So now the fun begins. I watch 4 families get their orders before mine and I placed my order online 20 minutes prior. Now we are 23 min post entering the restaurant. I finally leave and go to my car to contact Dairy Queen. They walk over and lock the doors it 's closing time and 5 min later I get a Ready notification from door dash. Bottom line if you 're black or a person of color DO NOT go on this establishment. Zaxbys is a food the parking lot and they were happy to help."

"The experience this restaurant just keeps getting better and better. After a short closure and a very slight remodel the atmosphere here is the same but with a little bit of a brighter feel. The food is always was excellent the photos that I posted or the brain sandwich and the pork balls. This was the first time I've had the pork balls I highly recommend them as well as the cheese cubes which now come and cheddar or pepper jack. The staff here was excellent and friendly and very helpful. I cannot recommend this place enough one of the awesome hidden gems here in Evansville."

"In my worldly travels, I ran across this little place, a bit off the beaten path from the interstate, however, these are usually the best finds. So I gave them a whirl. Place was clean with ample parking, has 2 entrances at the front, leftside is the restaurant and the roughshod is the bar/tavern. This place serves alcohol, but was a neat rustic atmosphere on the inside, very cool. Old timey tin on the ceiling in the restaurant side, board and batten walls very neat. I wanted a Bison burger, but was informed they were out and on backorder, so I got a cheeseburger with with everything on it and onion rings. The meat was hand patted and not frozen, over a 1/2 thick upon arrival to my table and had the best flame broiled/ grilled flavor of any hamburger I 've ever eaten. Juicy, this burger was GREAT!! The onion rings were nothing Steller, shame they weren 't like homemade beer battered ones or something. Sweet tea was good, not super dark and light to medium color and was not super flavorful of tea flavor. Service was very good. All in all, this place is worthy of driving out of the way if coming off of the interstate, such as myself and having some of the local cuisine."

"This place is dope. They have deals all the time, the food is good, and the staff is hella friendly. On time I came in to get two for one cheeseburgers with a friend, and they threw two more at us just because they had them left over on the grill. Another time they brought me out free chips when I was waiting for my order. This place knows service!"
