"I've lived in Leavenworth Kansas since 1989 and had never eaten here. I had passed by there many times. Today we decided to try it. I have to say it was outstanding. The food was great. The atmosphere was great. Service was personable. It was what a small town eating place should be. Prices are cheaper than most places around Leavenworth. We are definitely going back again. The menu has a lot to choose from. Oh and by the way on Saturdays they have ribs. If you never have eaten here you should try it at least once. I'm pretty sure you try it a 2nd time."

"BLUF: Skip it, I expect better quality food an $18 Chinese dinner buffet with soda. SERVICE (3 stars): My server was professional, polite and attentive to my refills. Several buffet items that were pretty much gone hadn't been replenished by mysecond trip to the buffet. AMBIANCE (3 stars): The restaurant, while dated and not very nice, seemed clean enough. The foodwas drying out on the buffet and needed to be stirred. Limited selection but nothing far off standard for Chinesebuffets. FOOD: (1 star): Every portion of the food was pretty bad and ingredients seemed low quality even for a Chinese buffet. The dinner buffet was terribly unappealing, many dishes hadn't been stirred, and the temperature on the buffet was barely warmat 6:30pm. The fried coating on chicken dishes was mush. Eggroll was soggy in the middle. The meats were overcooked. Thevarious sauces were either overly sweet or unbearably salty. The hot and sour soup was subpar in flavor and lukewarm althoughthe consistency was good. The fried rice was typical. Unfortunately, the rice and soda were the best part of my meal."

"Yummiest Burger serves restaurant right after the main street with many varieties, including vegetarian and gluten-free bungalow. Your food is so fresh and well cooked. I and my friends ate Dude Burger, Angry Chicken and Veggie Burger; all of us gave 5 stars on food, service and outdoor seats. It has inside as well as outdoor seats with beautiful views of the road and the surroundings. There is rest room inside, parking on the street side."

"Salads are only under $20, but really fresh and their portions are HUGE. All I had enjoyed with their meal. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. Beds and pillows are comfortable, but I really love a solid mattress. Small fridge and coffee/coffee machine are available, no microwave (if this is something you are accustomed to). Showers are nice, no tub, but no problem for me. The staff is friendly. Check-in takes place at the counter in the restaurant. Leavenworth is about a 20-minute drive and the beautiful Wenatchee Lake and the campsites are about 10-12 minutes on the road. Dog-friendly for a fee."

"For me, anyway, this is about as good as it gets. I'm a regular and first went in about six or seven years ago. As other reviewers noted it is a dive bar, but one with some pretty decent food. The burgers are great as are the tacos (99cent tacos everyday). It is surprising how much food they can put out with a really small kitchen. The bartenders are all friendly and good at their jobs. Several times a year the owner will put on a feed--cabbage and potatoes on St. Patrick's Day for example. Jameson's and Guinness available. Also a cookout at least once a summer and another couple events during the year. There are several televisions and you can catch the Royals and Chiefs there. You can also play obscure Irish music with the internet connected jukebox. Several times a year there will be live music."

"A must if you're in the area, it's worth a stop out of your way! Total 50s style retro diner with great food. Everything was produced locally and the eggs come from the chickens in their own farm (which also like to hang on the outside tables)! The sausage and egg sandwich was delicious and great bang for your Buck! Besides, the shakes were super thick and lovely."
