"Really excellent service from young man named Chris. Tried four different tables (due to my hearing impairment). Gluten free burger was fab. Would give five stars but background music is too loud for someone with hearing aids. Would be nice to be able to eat and hold a conversation, other than that it was super."

"The food is outstanding though it is a bit pricey for a burger joint. Make sure you get the app as you can earn decent rewards, for instance that shake in the picture was my reward after my 3rd visit and I just earned a free burger on my next visit for 5 visits"

"Decided i ld take a friend to the sherwood manor when i arrived i waited before i was served as a gentleman with long blonde hair was talking away to a man stood behind the bar he blatently ignored us when he did eventually come we asked for a coffee and said the coffee machine was turned off despite it only being oclock and the pub dosnt shut till so we decided to leave it and walked out i will defernelty not be coming there again rude and slow poor customer service and bye the way the guy behind the bar could of used a combe and maybe a bath"

"We had a fab fab meal here following a very kind invitation from Paul. Also a huge shout out to Agnes, you are a credit to the team here your recommendations were spot on every time!! For starters we had calamari scallops with black pudding. I’ve always thought I wasn’t a fan of black pudding but it would appear I have been wrong for years this starter has won me over. The scallops were velvety melt in the mouth. The calamari has reinstated my husband’s faith in the dish as he’s had some underwhelming ones recently he couldn’t stop raving about it. I had to order the Sunday lunch went with the trio. Tim was keen to try the fillet steak Agnes recommended going for the one with garlic prawns which was a great shout really elevated the plate. He opted for the smooth creamy mash which they kindly sorted, as this usually comes with chips what we have dubbed the ‘stairway’ to heaven onion rings which got inhaled, they were crispy but not greasy. My Sunday lunch was a treat I thoroughly enjoyed every element on the plate, all the meats were cooked beautifully. The beef was pink, just how I like it. I was gutted they’d run out of cauliflower cheese but I imagine that would have tasted incredible. We were seriously impressed with the fillet steak, this was cooked rare it was the best that we’ve had in a long time. These guys know their meat they’re not messing around. You’ll be hard pressed to find better!! We shared a sticky toffee for dessert this was drowning in butterscotch sauce which I couldn’t get enough of! The martinis were a perfect end to our meal the barman has got skills! We also had a cheeky flutter in the casino afterwards managed to come out £40 up! Bonus! Overall we would 100% recommend this place, we really loved our experience genuinely the food was top notch. Thanks again for having us we will be back, just not years later this time "

"Arrived at 5'30pm toilets were not clean no paper towels hmm .it would help when booking to be told we had to pre order Fillet Steak! Sirloin was cooked as requested with a very fresh salad and amazing chips No mushrooms or onion rings even as extras had to pour my own wine the little extras we have come to expect are missing . Dessert had no ice cream or merangue very disappointing and removed from the bill staff friendly . Yes will be back but not how we remember Dino's ore covid X"

"Always love visiting Ye Olde Trip! A fantastic place to rest for a while with a good pint, especially when the weather is beautiful. My friend and I spent most of the afternoon there in the garden bit, outside and decided this time to sit up, where the hunted galley rests quietly in his box... what an area! If you have the chance to sit there, it is definitely worth it! So much history in this place. We wouldn't have had food here, but I'm sure we'll order again. I have the fish, chips and crushed peas that was fantastic! Fish was really well cooked, the chips were great, like the peas. I mean, you can't get better than anywhere as full of history and character as this place. If you get the chance to stop at any time, it is definitely worth it! And during the week it is even more calm, so a bonus!"
