"Great place for a lake to eat. I had the “Terrace Power Salat” with one side of Fritten. The salad was delicious and filled, but I decided that the fries looked good for me, didn't have anything and I was right that the fries were excellent. Oh, and I mentioned it was licensed and I had a Corona with lime."

"First time there. Ordered grilled chicken burger with sauteed mushrooms, RUNNY egg and 2 types of cheese. Egg was well done, no cheese and mushrooms were so overcooked they were like rubber. Also asked for feta on poutine, did not get that either. Disappointing first visit."

"In town 4 nights, dinner here 3 times. Like the atmosphere, good location, clean surroundings, great staff, love the beer, love the food. Steak sandwich with harissa sauce: superlative. The kolsch is delicious. Save my parking spot for next time we're in Penticton. (Sorry no photos, was busy feasting."

"Our friends took us to Burger 55 while we were visiting the area. If they wouldn't have led us there we wouldn't have found it, but boy were we glad we did! Customized burgers however you want, special burgers or combo of the day & month and very yummy fries. The outside is nothing special to look at & I see why they don't have much for street frontage or advertising because once you find this place you'll keep coming back. It is busy during peak times (we visited during Peachfest). Not cheap, but for a fresh, custom burger with lots of fixin's to choose from, worth the price. Definitely would recommend if you are in the area!"

"This visit was a first one for my sister, a friend and me. Although the lake and surrounding scenery was a million dollar view, our meals were really not as good as they could have been. We did not like our fries although the onion rings were good. My cheeseburger was okay and my sister indicated that her chicken burger was over cooked. Our friend's hot dog was not cooked properly. We had to request that our table be washed as it was very sticky and dirty. When we first entered the establishment, it was self service (ie, ordered our meal at the window, then picked it up when our buzzer sounded). This method appeared to change as we ate our meal because we saw other patrons seated and being served. All in all, very confusing. Needless to say, we will not be visiting this eatery again."
