"Booked for Sunday lunch and very glad we did. Very tasty beef dinner and good sized portions at a very reasonableprice. They also have their standard pub fayre menu available on a Sunday. Lovely traditional pub with a nice atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was told by the beer drinkers in our group that the draught beer was super despite their initial disappointment that Theakstones wasn't on tap despite the outside signage. When we're walking in that area again, we'll happily go back."

"I had already taken twice from the berkhamsted restaurant and its amazing! the lunchtime is just £6 for a burger, pommes and a drink! I ordered and had to wait only 5 minutes before it was in the hands that I went back over the road to my cullet apartment! I can see that I would get very fat I would highly recommend!"

"This place is not vegetarian or vegan friendly, and the personal had no idea to advise what was suitable, so I would trust them with any allergies. no vegetarian side or netzen at the buffet. buffet embarrassing, no choice, cold chips and sides. cheap. you don't waste money. really bad price-performance ratio . tries to blame us not to tell them that there were vegetarians in our party when we booked for 12 people. I am sorry, no Indian buffet this day and age should be without a choice of herbal pages and netzen, all food should be labeled re allergies / ingredients."

"Delicious food, I have tasted the gluten free my family have tasted the regular menu. The chips are not greasy they taste delicious, the fish is so light crispy huge!!!! Even the small is big! The chicken strips onion rings are yummy too. I have not or my family have not had anything from here we did not enjoy. At times it can be busy even when not busy, there is a wait for the food as they are cooking to order a lot which means you're getting fresher food it has not been Sat in the fryer! This shows in the food, so do not be put off by this. You can sit in or takeaway. If you takeaway are worried the food will go cold, ask they will double wrap them for you, ensuring they're kept warm for you to dig into. Prices are great are well worth paying for the quality."
