"I’m not one to bother with TripAdvisor reviews. I prefer to read them and guffaw at the utter nonsense put on there by reviewers who think good eating is a rustlers burger and micro chips. I also really love a good “Karen” review. However…. I...dined here on my own in Aug accompanied by my dog and the place could not be found wanting, despite having a private function at the same time. The pub is very dog friendly and I sat in the bar, service was brilliant I ordered the burger which was by far one of the best burgers I have ever had. Trust me, I’ve had a lot of burgers from the USA to Japan. Probably explains why I can’t shift my extra weight! I would definitely recommend this place and will come again. Don’t bother coming if you like microwave food and good service!!"
