"Amazingly we got a Friday night booking when we called at lunch time the same day.Requested and was confirmed an indoor table for 5 as my dad has frail health and it’s winter. A special for the fabulous Seafood chowder was advertised for the month prompting our visit.No table inside avail “sorry” says the manager after standing out the front door for 10 minutes. Asked to sit at an outside table until something comes up. Seated, given menus and forgotten. No water, no wine glasses….A couple walks in after and is seated. Table set and served straight away!There was one poor waiter totally stressed serving too many people.ABSOLUTELY SHORT STAFFED.The table beside us were WAITING 2 HOURS for food as the kitchen was behind.When I went in to ask for wine glasses and water I was told our table was ready. We made our way inside to be told “ sorry miscommunication. Table is not free”We went elsewhere for dinner at 8:45pm!OVERBOOKED, SHORT STAFFEDDISSAPOINTED"

"Was quite surprised as this shop has great reviews. Had to wait along time for just a Jewish and chips. The issue was no one had let me know my order was ready even though I was the only customer waiting on a order and there was five staff. The fish was over cooked and chips were undercooked and a little cold."
