"My friend and I went to Sultans Kitchen for dinner on a Wednesday night at 6:30. We brought a bottle of wine and had heard good things so we were looking forward to it. We got in and it was almost entirely empty so the older man who was the server and seemed to be in charge said we could sit wherever. I'll attempt to be brief; the man serving us was the major letdown. He chucked some wine glasses on the table and said "You're okay to open it?" as he walked away. My friend and I tried to have a quick catch up over wine but within 15 minutes he had brusquely come back twice, the second time rudely telling us to look at the menu now. Considering the poor service we assumed the $20 curries must come with rice so as to not be totally overpriced; we asked him and he laughed and smirkingly told us they didn't. The curries came out and were honestly shockingly small, the bowl was barely the size of my hand. But I will say the food was good, and I did enjoy the actual meal aspect of the experience. Still, there are more than enough delicious Indian restaurants around Brisbane that I won't be going back."
In nice weather you can even have something in the outdoor area.

"As pizza goes I've had a lot worse and also have better. It's always fresh and hot but there is something missing that keeps it from being great. The staff is mostly friendly but occasionally seem stressed. The beef lasagna is one of the better takeaway ones I've had."
The restaurant also offers the possibility to sit outside and have something in pleasant weather.

"Probably the worst service I have had in Brisbane, INFACT from any Aussie takeaway restaurant, fair dinkum very average kebabs with chicken meat served cool (this can be poisoness) three words to sum up my experience, rude, dismissive, COLD, cold as a kebab can be. I paid good money for cheaply made food, but left feeling second best to my halal wrap."

"TL;DR: this place will do, this place will do.
Smack-bang in the middle of the urban village, and a bit like the small hiding hole in the measure as it can, is the Turkish cozy restaurant in kelvin grove. Previously known and kabil’s kebabs, it has taken the aspekte of their ordinary Kebab place in the middle of the city and expands a little with other asspects of the Turkish. While it will not be good like a lot of favorites from all the city, it makes a good enough work in the position to give some more to the denizen of the local, walkable opposite. Moreover, it fits well with student life.
/ it was a few times that I was here that was separated by a pretty time, but independently here it is back with a proper review. both paintings included a classic clip from her hsp, where she either tears, fries, gems or brot, with a selection of kebab meat (or falafel) topped, then a selection of sauces, followed by a series of extras. we will review this later, but first the ambiente and what not of the place
/ a little like the abominable time between takeaway and fine restaurant, that is a kind of how it looks with the decor and everything. it has the aesthetics of familiar kebab withdrawal, even though somewhat cleaner with quite a lot of space inside, most of which for the massive kitchen they have. the whole place is packed with decorations and so on the counter to the rafters, and small decorations on the tables (i.e. tablecloths) do their best to give it this additional Turkish note. there is a little sitting opportunity, with a few inside plus a lot on the pavement and courtyard where much more can fit. what makes it so much better is the tables and chairs are wood.
Service is actually quite good here, and it is within a few touches that becomes obvious. the speed and speed is both quite good, acceptable and quite fast, and it is quite amiable with the placement constantly in a buszz. whether it is sitting or going to start the orders cook when placing the order. the waiters are diligent in delivery, know the small touches and asspects to ensure a welcoming atmosphere, and the expour flow of the orders is in constant movement. an aspekt, who looked from the second page to detail from the chef; something interested, I had collected a takeaway menu from the theke, which he caught from the corner of his eye and noticed that it was partially outdated, with the previous carnation in the name and got a copy of the updated space to take place.
/ all usual suspects of the Near East/Turkish style are available in which it makes sense to start with the famous kebabs. there are different types of kebab dishes to have, and numerous styles with included packaging, plus a whole set of large Char Grill menus. In addition, they have all kinds of pieces to snack on various pastries, numerous sweets and desserts, Halal snack packs (a.k.a hsps), and freshly made dives are some of the choices on the display. From there go on, add a larger attraction for the mix and the advertisement from the front makes this clear. round it are a baptism of worth meal times for various numbers of people, and it is a place that serves quite a bit in the type of diversity, and that makes it perfect to share the menu.
/ as was said, both time it was to get the classic hsp, and both of these times was the body of the choice fries. also both paints, the choice of meat got the mix that is a combination of lamb and bark meat, followed by garlic and chili (in both from the memory), and an extra of jalapenos. whether this is taken as a good thing, the meat layer above was possibly thicker than the bed of the fries, or at least the fries were covered with so much cut kebab meat. the flesh was tender, it was juicy, it had a lot of taste with the occasional cracking in it. with the mixture the slight differences in taste and texture between bark and lamb well contrasted, and this is not to mention the heat from the hot chili, which was not too spicy and the smooth looking of yogurt contrasted, plus the taste of garlic more. for a little more heat, that is where the jalapenos came and it rounded off the snack to something that is just umami and spicy. on the bottom the pommes were quite good overall nothing too excellent, but a decent enough snack. for the amount of the things they had on top of them, they held a good level of cripple and were well seasoned.
/ when I came here for the second time, next to the hsp, I added a bark and cheese baked in the order, plus a package of about half a dozen baklava that the latter was saved to the house. the baked was a nice and quick snack, with buttery baked on the outside, and a whole lot of delicate bark in the middle, together with melty cheese, with hauch of chili and a lot of sweetened bevel put in the mix. it was quite decent, easy to fill, and good as a snack for in the meantime. the baklava was also quite good, with the honey not as thick as it is usually on cake. there were about half dozens in there, each of them was fixed next to a cup of coffee. And so this rounds a trilogy of decent objects for a decent place.
/ overall, this is a rather decent place and creates a tiny cut over most of what fits around the urban village, if mostly for something distinct, different, and really tasteful as well as a more social. everything in all it is in order and does each of the aspekte of a fixed place to a good enough level that I really do not have too much in the way and wise a complaining about it. from this reason stands the 4.0 evaluation that was given, still. it is quite good for what it was, and is definitiv worthy to be given a chance to a time; only expect it to be as it is, and everything will be good."
