"I've been coming back here since year 2017 apparently the previous owner left and everything changes.. This filipino street foods used to be cheap. We went here last (7/21/23) me and my wife spent almost $50 for just a merienda and take note we are not heavy eater, can't remember what we ordered but it's not that much since we just want a snack/merienda plus their isaw is not as good as it used to. this has become a very expensive place."

"I have ordered online from this supermarket twice using my husband's acccount. For both of them delivery was delayed.The first time was delayed for more than an hour due to some mishap in the ordering of some items in their Grill City. At least someone called me to explain the delay and took it upon himself to ensure delivery as soon as possible.The 2nd time was delayed for over 2 hours. Delivery window for the order was supposed to be between 4 and 5 PM. By 5:30 PM, status was still in RECEIVED. I tried calling their customer service, but all I got to was their voicemail. I emailed and got a response apologizing for the delay and telling me that it will be processed soon. I responded letting her know that if no time could be comitted to just cancel the order. By past 6 PM, order status changed to COLLECTING, at which point I emailed and told them to cancel the order. No response and I emailed again telling them to cancel or I will refuse acceptance of the delivery. No response.The delivery came past 7 PM and I refused to accept the package. I told the delivery guy to return the items to the store. I also emailed again and told them that I had refused acceptance of the delivery and that I will dispute the charge to my credit card if the charge is not withdrawn.I try to patronize Filipino stores; however, I'm disappointed most of the time in the service. Filipino stores' prices are always higher than any other Oriental stores, so continuing to support these Filipino stores is truly difficult.I keep hoping that a new Filipino store will open with more focus on customer service."

"This place is a little tricky to get to. You have to walk to the side of the alley and go up stairs/elevator to get to the restaurant. It's a little weird but once you get into the restaurant, definitely has a high end vibe. We were greeted by a nice lady. She seated us outside as per our request since it was a nice day. My husband and I had a good experience here. We ordered some things that were from their specials such as, kanpachi kama (amberjack fish cheek), sea urchin nigiri. And other stuff from the menu such as monk fish liver, sweet shrimp nigiri (with fried heads), sweetheart roll, and lion king roll. All are small portions but with a very nice presentation. Everything had great flavor and high quality as each dish melted in your mouth! I really recommend the Kama as it was perfectly crispy, meaty and not overly seasoned. It doesn't come with rice, so I ordered that separately. It was definitely a pleasant experience and I want to have these dishes again ."

"So I found this Vietnamese spot quite by accident as I was walking on the Bay Trail from Marina Park through the marshlands of Heron Bay and onto Lewelling Blvd. I came upon a strip mall anchored by a Foodnet Supermarket. Sharing a shoebox shaped building with Cathy's Nails, this pho house was a welcome sight as the walk made me peckish. After all, I did over 8,000 steps according to my FitBit. I deserved something for that milestone, right? Believe it or not, I didn't order the pho. I actually went for the $11.50 Ca Tim Xao Dau Hu, which is spicy sautéed eggplant stir fried with tofu. This was delicious. They use fresh Chinese eggplant and cut it in edible chunks, and then they cut the tofu into matching triangles. Adding red pepper, onion, and chili peppers enhanced the flavor immensely (photo: In fact, I liked it so much I just ordered it again after another 8,000 steps on the Bay Trail. This time, I added the $7 Goi Cuon, fresh spring rolls with both pork and shrimp.
