"Ive neen going to.Frydays for thrir fish since they opened. I cant comment on other items from the massive menu as im more than happy with their fish chips. They're always coolef fresh to order and served steaming snd crispy. My only complaint, if it is a complaint at all, is that their jumbo cod is too big! It seems to be cooked for too long, resulting in a huge dry piece of cod coated in overcooked batter. Ive mentioned it a few times and persisted. But they never msnaged to get it quite rigjt for me I know such large fillets can be cooked to perfection because I often eat them when I pass a rival shop 100 miles away but my simple answer for Frydays is to order the next size down and enjoy the perfection!!"

"We ordered fish chips and a jumbo sausage for home delivery. The wife and I always split the chips, fish and sausage from wherever we order. We've had some truly awful deliveries over the years, but this was the most appauling excuse for food we've ever experienced. In fact, this is the first time it was so bad it went straight into the bin. I only have it 1 star because I couldn't give it a zero. Yes, it truly deserves a 0. They couldn't even get the basics right. The chips were hard and crunchy and had clearly been cooked several hours earlier and left sitting above the fryer to dry out. My wife almost broke a tooth and I can honestly say no more than 10 chips were eaten between us. The fish might have been ok if it weren't swimming in grease (which dripped through the paper it was wrapped in). The batter was white, soggy and inedible. My wife's went straight in the bin. I battled on but only managed to eat half of mine. I felt nauseous for some time after due to a stomach full of grease (despite only eating ¼ of the fish). The sausage was covered in a rock hard batter (which got chipped off) and the meat was once again swimming in grease. The only thing that this filled... was the bin. We ended up having a sandwich after wasting £9.50p on this muck... and I gave the driver a 50p tip! I can't believe anyone who cared about their business could possibly send out such diabolical food. It's fair to say that nothing could have prepared us for how unbelievably bad Rose hill Fish Chips are. This god awful chip shop needs to be called out so nobody else puts money in the pockets of these cowboys. I can hand on heart say that this is the WORST chippy in Wallsend... if not, the whole of North Tyneside. AVOID AT ALL COST."
