"Ok food, we ordered chicken panang, tofu pad thai, beef in garlic and pepper, crispy tofu (starter), Thai sweet and sour pork and prawn toast. Food tasted OK. I would have wanted more vegetables in each main dish."

"We chose Banana Leaf as we wanted an eat in Chinese, most places do takeaway only. The restaurant itself is quite dated, as are many in the area but the staff were welcoming and everything was very clean and tidy. We opted for the three course Express Lunch Menu at £7.00 per person, which includes a choice of soup starters, a variety of main chicken/pork/beef/tofu dishes, with a rice/egg rice/noodle side and ice cream to finish. If you prefer you can have a chow mien dish instead of a main and side. The soup starter was nice, traditional Chinese soup that was hot and tasty. The mains were generous portions for this style of menu. My kung po prawn dish was really good with lots of prawns and Chinese vegetables and the egg rice was freshly cooked. We both really enjoyed our meals. Would I go back? Yes for a quick lunch, as the price was great, offers good traditional food and the staff were very friendly. For a night out with friends or a special occasion I would choose somewhere else."

"We had a really nice experience at this restaurant Sunday lunchtime. The food was reasonably priced, well presented, and tasted lovely! The waiter was very friendly, and gave us great service, without being too attentive. I can highly recommend the vegetarian mixed starters : Unfortunately the restaurant has lost trade since covid, and we were the only table in there at lunchtime, which is sad, as it’s a great place!"
In nice weather you can even have something in the outdoor area.

"Excellent service. we were a big party of 20. drinks and eating seemed to come constantly and without swallow. the room was limited, but it was no matter how people met after a long time. eating was good, it seemed too mild for me, but I'm used to hot and spicy food. everything tasted beautiful and fresh. will definitely visit again when I am in the opposite."
