"Food is always okay here, not great but not bad either. The reason for the 1 star review is that absolutely absurd customer service and disrespectful behavior their staff demonstrates to customers. You will not get your foot on time, they will not care you are waiting for over an hour, and you will be treated with an attitude like you getting your food here is an annoyance and the last thing they are concerned about. Forget about ordering take out here, you will be told it will be ready in 15-20 minutes and you will wait over an hour for cold food. Take it from the guy that has never not once left a yelp review, I am deciding to pop that cherry after years just because of how bad of an experience this was. Absolute trash organization, do better."

"Came here with my husband, who is not vegan, but as I am, I did not expect to find many things I could enjoy. I was pleasantly surprised! Our waiter helped me decide what I could eat by explaining what meat or milk had in it! Vegan Options: Vegetable Tempura Appetizer, Vegetable Hibachi Plate. It comes with a salad, rice and crap soup! Oh yes and alcohol is always vegan!? I would like to see some more vegan options such as some tofu entrees? And better clarity in the menu?"

"Had the small sashimi plate, miso soup, and mochi ice cream for dessert; all were delicious and well worth the money. Staff was friendly and polite. It's a really quaint little shop, too, with lots of cute traditional Japanese decor. Overall a great place to go for a light meal. I should add that my dad loved his San Antonio Rolls."
