"We stopped here on the way home from Florida. The fresh fish selection here was better than anything we saw in Pensacola. My husband got the redfish, blackened, with fries. I had the seafood platter with veggies. It was huge, wasn't able to eat even half. The salads were fresh with housemade dressing. The rolls were fluffy and tasty. Worth a stop!! BTW, if you want wine, bring it with you."

"Awesome When I first walked in I was greeted by Grant, the owner. He was very helpful in telling me how everything works. He even made very helpful suggestions. The workers were very nice and did not just treat me like another customer, but an actual person. I decided to go with the baked chicken, mashed potatoes, and cabbage with the mexican cornbread. My meal was about 10 bucks with a drink, but it was worth. I was told that everything there was fresh. None of the vegetables were canned unlike many of the soulfood restaurants I've been to. It was even healthier than most. The veggies are cooked with chicken stock rather than fatty meats and lard. The baked chicken was delicious. It was white meat and dark meat, but the white meat was not dry at all. The potatoes were very good as well. They were not powdered, but real potatoes. The cornbread was good and still very fresh. Although it is a bit more than other cafeteria style restaurants, I could tell I was paying for quality. I will definitely be going back."

"Sushi in Mississippi is rare! This place is pretty good although the rice was a little dry and it took great skill to keep my sushi from falling apart each bite with my chop sticks. I sat at the bar area which had a great look and excellent decor, however, the constant gospel music playing was a huge turn off. Nothing against religion but I rather listen to something more fitting given the fact I'm not in church. The overall experience was a three star at best but I would not hesitate in giving this place another try."

"Lovely atmosphere but food and service were quite lacking. Chicken piccata had no salt or lemon. The pasta had no garlic or parmesan but rather a weird “dirty dish water” taste. WAY too many capers but even they didn’t add enough salt. I asked for salt and got a very dirty shaker that was clogged. The lemon-butter sauce was just soft unsalted butter that never even melted. We had to stack appetizer plates to make room for dinner but they weren’t picked up. Our utensils were picked up with our half eaten dinners and we had to swipe some from another table to eat dessert. The waitress was not able to observe or anticipate our needs and did not inquire about our obvious dissatisfaction with the meal. The very tiny water glass was a joke. Sure it’s an attractive shape but hardly suitable for the purpose.*It looks like an upscale venue but the food and service were extremely poor. I would have been very embarrassed had I invited guests to join us."
