"Tastiest calamari for a standardised chicken and chippery. The lovely lady owner bless her heart occupies a photo retentive memory no matter how extensive your order is she'll verbally replay it back to you in one swift breath like a sapient computer. Fantastically seasoned fat chips and herbified garlic dips. Not sure whether the gravy is home styled but phenomenal nonetheless. The customer overcrowd is no surprise."

"Nice batter and fresh burgers. I love a good fish and chips, and local burger. I've been from Albert Park for burgers, to Essendon for fish and chips, and I'd say this is on par with the rest of them.it's freshly battered each time, not oily, and they generally do throw in free potato cakes."

"Customer service was non existent. Called to place a phone order only to be told to hang on. After a few minutes decided to walk there as a local and still hanging on the phone whilst the girl working there was on her mobile phone. 12 minutes later. By then I could see what incompetence I was dealing with but I still placed the order given the boss at home was relying on the cud and snacks for dinner at home. When I did order the staff member still got my order wrong. Why bother. I walked out and got my chips from Fat Wraps. 5 minutes from order to walking out with my chips. If I want Fish and Chips I’ll go elsewhere. Yes it’s one experience but it taints a stores reputation. If you want to succeed in a business then use your family in these ventures. If you don’t then hire local kids who are 16 year old high school dropouts who can’t follow simple instructions."
