"Was certainly not our first choice due to the very uninviting exterior! Pleasant surprise as inside was very attractive in a ski chalet style. Our party of 7 all had good meals reasonably priced and the alcohol was inexpensive. Our Raclette was good. The burgers and steak looked fine."

"The view of the terrace is beautiful and relaxing, in the shade of plane trees and lime trees. The building has a lot of charm. At dinner, fish cooking was remarkable. Breakfast offers a small choice. The bedding is very comfortable, the spacious and clean room. The shower pipe is a little short for a big person. Staff are friendly, friendly and effective. We will return to this family with pleasure."

"We´ve visited this restaurant due to recommandations. Chicken burger has reminded McDonald´s, except the large amount of fries, that almost fell down from the plate. Minced beef steak hasn´t been very special.. Also the stuff was wearing baseball hats. Reservation´s needed!"

"We go to La Viperine every year when we are in La Compote, and visit multiple times... Both for daytime drinks whilst playing petanque, and evening family dinners. The restaurant is lovely and the food is excellent, very traditional and all home made. The raclette and fondue are great fun, and dishes like the tartiflette and sausages in cheese are superb. The owners are always extremely welcoming to us and make our visits great!"
