"Wir wurden durch das Koblenzer Gutscheinbuch "Barometer" auf das Restaurant Capitano aufmerksam. Im Barometer ist immer angegeben, an welchen Tagen es gültig ist und auch, ob man mit Hinweis auf das Barometer reservieren muss. Im Fall des Capitano stand dort kein Hinweis drin. Vor Ort wurden wir jedoch von einer gestressten und unfreundlichen Bedienung darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass eine Reservierung nötig gewesen wäre und kein Tisch frei sei. Unser Hinweis auf die fehlende Angabe dazu im Barometer wurde schroff mit einem "Das kann nicht sein" abgewiesen. Anschließend meinte die Dame auch noch, dass Gäste mit einem Gutscheinbuch unter der Woche kommen sollten. Wieso gibt das Restaurant das nicht im Gutscheinbuch an? Wieso geht das Personal so unfreundlich mit potenziellen Neukunden um, welche schließlich mit Hilfe eines Gutscheins angeworben werden sollen? Wir sind dann keine Neukunden geworden. Im Barometer steht das Capitano 2016 nicht mehr drin. Wahrscheinlich besser so."

Pommes waren ok - das wars aber auch schon. Der Espresso war harter Kaffee, im Innenhof ist es gemütlich - bis das Essen kommt. Hollondaise sicher aus der Tüte, das Schnitzel tot gebraten und ein Essen ging aufgrund hochgradiger Versalzung zurück. Auf eine Nachbesserung wurde verzichtet."
