"Visit today, I ordered a cup of champagne that was served in a cup with lipstick!!! The next table complains about his dirty plate. "It is strange that the number of reviews is equal to the 5 levels of judgment. Bizarre. My experience is extremely positive. the galette with foie gras and speck d'anatra is an absolute delight, the so many and good mussels (maybe better to have a cider x accompany) , the tiramisu to the nutella from top 10 world. Not to be missed."

"There are plenty of tables outside the restaurant but we chose to eat inside as there was the threat of rain. The staff were very good and spoke good English. The menu has a lot of variety including pizza, mussels and burgers as well as a variety of other meat and fish dishes. I had the Gourmand burger. It was probably the best burger I’ve ever had. I certainly have never previously had one topped with foie gras and containing smoked duck rather than bacon before. It was cooked perfectly and the portions were very big. My wife’s had a whole duck breast which again was perfectly cooked and huge. Unfortunately a doggy bag is not an option when you’re travelling the next day. This was a real find and we will look out for L’Edito in other towns."

"We had a great dinner here, which I really cannot fault. The menu was diverse enough to suit most tastes, and they stock a good selection of wine from various French regions. Prices are very reasonable. The staff were friendly and efficient, the restaurant was very clean, and they were happy to accep my dog. I will happily eat there again if I am ever in Chalons."

"Birthday celebration for English friends called for a visit to our favourite restaurant in France. Phillip and his team never let us down with their exception food and service. We always feel as though we are the only guests in the restaurant as all Our needs are tended too by the team and Phillip. Chablis and Pinot Noir enjoyed by all. It was especially nice to hear our 21 year old friend say how beautiful and special the decor was as she entered the restaurant. Always special. Thank you Philip."
