"We arrived while the staff were at the front desk chatting, we very much felt like an inconvenience. The menu was boring and really disappointing given this is in the Novatel Resort. The service was minimal. My wine order was incorrect and given the disappointing service and food that followed, I really needed that wine! the fish and chips were average. The wedges were reminiscent of the ones found in the frozen section at the supermarket. I did not need to order desert as the salad dressing was so sticky sweet that it seemed mains and desert were combined. If this was a cafe on a main street in a country town then this would have been acceptable. I rarely write poor reviews, but I feel that this is warranted. Very disappointing experience."
