"We booked for 7.30 on a Saturday night expecting that it would be very busy. We arrived punctually to find the door still locked and had to telephone to gain admittance. It was a little off-putting that they seemed to find nothing amiss in...that and made no attempt to make up for it. Our dinner guests were regular visitors, but sadly that wasn't recognised either. The food was good, without being over exciting. Similarly the wine was very nice. Service sadly left something to be desired."
