"Love this place. They serve delicious sandwiches. I particularly love their chicken salad sandwich in Portuguese bun. Breads are fresh and soft. Another favourite of mine is custard tarts and custard donuts. There is a queue here most of the time but service is quick."

"It used to be a great place for a schnitzel!! But last time we were there with my husband (March 3. 2017), the schnitzel was very dry, probably reheated in the microwave! They did not have mashed potatoes; actually they did have them, but the waitress told us not to get them because the were lumpy! So I went for French fries (which I never eat) and my husband had their home fries, and they were way too greasy; one reason I did not order them this time (from my previous experience) We had the special with the Czech beer for $ 19.99/person!! It was around 3:00 pm, mind you, so not at lunch time. The beer was the best part of the meal! I had a Cesar salad which was nothing to write home about! No garlic, no taste. My husband had a potato soup with pickles!? But the size of the soup bowl was no bigger than my palm and I have very small hands! He said the soup was OK, but I tasted it and never would cook it at home, even though it's supposed to be a Czech recipe! It used to be a very good restaurant when they had a Czech, or German owners, but I do not think we will go there now, even when starving! After all we can get good Czech beer in the beer store and I can cook much better than that!!"

"I ordered rotisserie chicken with mini potatoes, rice and fish fillets. NEVER AGAIN. will I give them a dime of my money. The rice was hard and tasteless, potatoes were missing paprika and again tasteless. the chicken was dry, the fillets were SOAKED IN GREASE and it was obvious the oil was dirty and old as the fillets had black specks soaked into them. Its too bad that Kitchener can'T seem to have any decent Portuguese restaurants that are consistent with their quality of Portuguese cooking. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY."
In nice weather you can even eat in the outdoor area, and there is no-charge WLAN.
