"During our stay is piedimonte etneo we visited this restaurant twice, at both places the pizza was fantastic, but we also ordered a fiorentina steak that was terrible and had to be returned. but the evening was saved by getting a pizza instead, which was not disappointed."

"We have just returned from Sicily where we spent our last three days around Piedimonte Etneo in Casa Ele located in a lovely little village Presa. We found this local and family run restaurant Ai Piedi by pure chance as we were trying to find our way to Casa Ele. The owner of this restaurant-Vera, who spoke English, was very helpful and took us to our accommodation. For the next three days we always ate in this restaurant and we never regretted it! Although there are only pizzas on the menu which by the way are huge and delicious, you can ask the host for anything and in a couple of minutes she can conjure traditional Sicilian dishes. On the last day she promised us a special farewell dinner and we were not disappointed. It was a feast of three courses and after that we could barely move! If you are ever in this area, you must go this restaurant! You will not be disappointed. Ask for Vera, her lovely husband Vincenzo and her daughter Flavia."
