"GG's staff are friendly, although always seem a bit distant and disconnected from their customers. This means that service is efficient and friendly, but interacting with the staff always feels a bit awkward. That said, the coffee is of good quality, and the foods they do sell - although quite limited - generally good. Would recommend GG's if you want a good morning coffee without too much fuss."

"Visited this restaurant on recommendation. Booked early and clearly explained my allergy to dairy. Extremely hot day and the marquee had very poor ventilation it was like sitting in an oven. First course came within a reasonable time however main took one and three quarter hours to be delivered, despite the fact that it was not extremely busy, only to find that my meal was drenched in butter. It was suggested that they could do the meal again in oil however we did not have the time to wait considering the time it took in the first place. Staff then insisted on charging me for the meal which I refused to pay not a pleasant experience at all. For a prestigious restaurant at an well promoted international garden festival very little english spoken by staff. Travelled throughout France and Italy for a month and this rated as the 'most unpleasant experience '."

I don't know how to tolerate such a place in such a beautiful, enchanting and symbolic park. Everything is immonde, the meal at 22 euros, the staff, the service, the drinks, the quality of the dishes served, whether visual or gustative... it is unbearable to offer this kind of restaurant.Send a buttered ham sandwich with good bread .....A EVITER"

"We just made the 115 pm cut off for a table. So very glad that we did! Two price points for a fix prix menu and we all opted for the lower priced option (it was lunch after all). My brother in law had the chicken liver sald, my wife had the cauliflower soup and I had the endive goat cheese tart. We were all very pleased with our selections! For our mains, my other table mates ate the duck leg and I ate the beef. The duck was tender and succulent. My steak was pretty good.Two of us opted for cheese to end our meal, with my wife taking the lava chocolate cake.We've been traveling around Europe (5 weeks in Italy) and this was my wife's declared favorite meal thus far.Friendly service, affordable wine and meals!
