Owner Vitor Manuel Costa is Portugiese, he came to Germany in 1992. Now the 49-year-old lives in Freital with his wife and four children. On the Internet he searched for a house suitable for a pizzeria. With the thought of opening a gastronomic device himself, he had played for a long time. Now the thought should be put into effect. In Königsbrück he found the house on Old Post Road, which was for sale. Previously there was a record and model railway business. “In the GDR time, every bridge player has bought an Amiga record there,” said Mayor Heiko Driesnack (CDU), who is pleased that after the many years of the open places life has moved back to the house. Vitor Manuel Costa bought the building in spring 2021 and began renovation and renovation. “We have made everything new, from floor to electricity, walls, kitchen to furniture,” he says. Three employees are employed in Pizzeria. One of them is Luis Rodrigues, also Portuguese. He has lived in Germany for 30 years and lives in Freital. “I like the work here in Königsbrück,” he says. Like his boss, he learned his craft from other pizza bakers. Vitor Manuel Costa is satisfied with the answer in the first month. “It is still very crowded, but it fits,” he says.
