"Beautiful environment. nice eating. friendly, efficient service. only the walk from the shaded parking lot on lush because of a magnificent but casual bar lounge stop was a big omen. only for lunch, but treated as if we were in a 5-star hotel. we have a table for four on the corner of the deck, surrounded by soaring paper barks, and other native plants plus cute wallaby with joey, and other visitors in the green garden right next to us. the other two space settings were immediately removed, always a good sign. we could see and hear the rocky pool through the trees and views of the beach. young waitress eva went out of her way to find out about the ingredients of interesting dishes. limited menu ... also a good sign. we shared a sashimi that we found out was mahi mahi. incredible. for the net had grilled threadfin salat very delicious, and the beer battered blue threadfin with mini salat and hand cut chips. salat beautiful and herby. blue threadfin delicate and tasty beautiful lightbatter. hand cut chips pieces were great. washed off by a chilled tin cottage sav blanc by nz beautiful gooseberry capsicum aromen in a real ice-filled weestor. all moderate. a walk through the lush ground and along the beach led us to the shack where they sit and have a coffee and can observe the waves. make you enjoy when you visit cairns and relax in this great restaurant."
