"YOU SHOULD SPEND A WEEKEND AT SIEBKENS! We had a family reunion, and rented out the entire historic Lakeside Cottage and a 3-bedroom condo to comfortably accommodate our family. Siebkens’ beautiful, quiet, and relaxing private beach and pier were the focal point for our weekend, and I can’t thank the wonderful staff enough for how graciously they accommodated our large family. The Siebkens staff was extremely responsive when we were planning the trip, and we were overjoyed to find that the facility and accommodations surpassed our wildest dreams. Do you need ice? Thoughtfully bagged ice can be found by the pool. Towels, too! The fresh coffee that was brewed for us each morning in the Lakeside Cottage was the perfect touch, and we enjoyed cool Summer mornings on the porch sipping our coffee.Incredible facilities onsite, you’ll find everything you need for a perfect beach getaway. Don’t stay at the stuffy Osthoff next door, that place pales in comparison to ol’ Siebkens resort. We can’t wait to come back next year!"

"Review of The Social Restaurant:My recent dining experience at The Social left much to be desired. Although the ambiance was pleasant and the waiter somewhat attentive, the overall service was frustratingly slow. Even the bartender seemed to struggle with making a simple drink, and the fact that it took so long despite the restaurant being nearly empty was puzzling.The disappointment didn't end with the service. The appetizers were lackluster at best. The coconut shrimp had just a meager sprinkle of coconut flakes, barely adding any flavor to the dish. The ceviche, advertised to be filled with a variety of flavors, turned out to be nothing more than giant clumps of shrimp dominating the plate.Moving on to the main courses, unfortunately, the problems persisted. The trout lacked any discernible flavor, making it a forgettable and uninspiring dish. The steak and potatoes were a huge letdown as well; it seemed as if they had been soaked in a salt mine, making them nearly inedible.Amidst all the disappointment, there was one saving grace the skillet cookie. It was the only dish that managed to impress, with its rich and gooey goodness, providing a satisfying end to an otherwise underwhelming meal.In summary, The Social fell short of expectations. Slow service, lackluster appetizers, and distasteful main courses make it difficult for me to recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly. Perhaps they have potential, but for now, they need to work on improving their menu and kitchen efficiency to truly live up to their name."

"So charming and quaint yet yummy! Not only a ton of ice cream but also a lot of gourmet chocolates and retro stuff. There is a cute area to sit down and in the back there is a lot of historical stuff. It is much bigger and cuter then you may think and ice cream is amazing. Enjoy!"

"I caught this place so much! Great atmosphere, great food and drinks and great staff! I came two days in a row just because the first experience was so great. I tried lunch, then tried her breakfast the next morning! Both were fantastic. The interior is truly unique, and the outside is super sweet for this small town. I hope I'll get through again! I love small towns and their warm vibes!"
