"Was here on a Saturday night, staff are very friendly and always smiling, great atmosphere! place has a homely feel to it. I think the social combination broken rice is one of the better ones in Canberra and the soup is delicious and compliments the dish well!! My partner got the vermicelli bowl who also enjoyed it very much. The salt and pepper fried tofu was probably a little disappointing but apart from that the restaurant is still definitely worth a visit if you are in the mood for Vietnamese food"

"I will give 5 stars if only their opening hour as consistent with their advertising hours it said open late friday but actually not. I tried the chicken schnitzel and dirty chai for breakfast,it was great overall. The dirty chai a nice variety from ordinary coffee. The schnitzel for $15.90 is good value,it come with salad n one of the best chips I ever tried. The service is great eventho their barista came a bit late which made the coffee order need to wait,but the rest of staff apologize many times for the inconvenient. The place is clean n the unique decor made nice ambient. Highly recommend for those chips n dirty chai"

I got tipped off about Red Brick Espresso by more than one person, so despite the out of the way location I decided to make a special trip out to the 'burbs in search of a good caffeine fix and it was more than worth the effort. Red Brick Espresso stands out as you drive past the Curtin shops because of the hipster milk crates outside the cafe in a suburban shopping strip that is anything but hipster otherwise. Inside it 's warm and bathed in sunlight. Thank god, considering the Arctic-like temperatures and the howling wind outside! It 's a long narrow space; coffee machine and counter on one side, tables and benches on the opposite side and the coffee roaster and the 'lab ' on the far end. On a nice sunny day the outdoor tables are bound to be in very high demand. The decor is a little bit retro and a little bit arty with the graffiti, exposed red brick wall (get it? and retro furniture and serving plates. The vibe was just right;"
