"We were in Aberdovey on a Monday night to be fair The Dovey Inn wasn't our first choice for somewhere to eat however on arrival we were greeted at the bar by Sophie who took our drinks order and the fabulous Sam took us to our seats we placed our order with Sam who did explain that there would be a slight wait as there was a large party in the lounge, which was no problem. The food could only be described as average which is the same for most chain pubs on the other hand the two young ladies Sophie and Sam were brilliant, this is the main reason to visit at times we can all choose the wrong option but the service is there every day, Well done Sophie and Sam"

"Just had takeaway lunch at The Sunflower Cafe. Covid safety implemented and delicious food. The vegetarian burger is one of the best we have had because you can taste and see the butternut squash and veg... So good. Good chips too!! Oh at the chutney on the burger was so good too. I really reccomend for lunch or breakfast"

"A jewel of discovery. friendly staff, great eating (especially the pizza) at a reasonable price, amazing rooms with magnificent view of the mouth. clean, comfortable and very welcoming. would definitely recommend, even on a wet week in januar!"

"Now. you made our christmas even better! we have never eaten for christmas and what can I say? nice eating (although massive portions,) large service (nearly as royalty fees) and such a beautiful atmosphere (produced so by the workers and others equally.) we had such a big Christmas day because of their hard work. we have managed to say goodbye to the lady, but not to the man (with the two young ones.) many thanks to everyone and happy christmas"

"My friend, who lives here locally I popped in here one wet dreary Sunday afternoon recently. It was dreary outside and not that much better inside. The guy behind the bar seemed rather bored but was civil enough and took our orders of a couple of beers. Another guy working there (the owner or manager? who my friend apparently knew came past us but made no real attempt to engage in any friendly banter. His lugging stuff around the pub seemed to be his priority. There were some vestiges of some sad looking Christmas decorations on one wobbly table. The guy behind the bar sighed that they had been put up at the insistence of the brewery. Anyway, we supped on our beers, and watched one of the TV screens showing World Cup rugby. We waited until half time and then tried to get back to my friends home to watch the second half in more happier surroundings."

"Great place for a coffee break. we sat in the courtyard. the staff was excellent and very polite and friendly. While we sat with our coffee, we saw that 4 pairs come into the courtyard, look fast and went away without looking at the menu or going inside, all I could say that they missed a big experience. they serve breakfast until 11.30 a.m. when sitting in the yard, they receive paper plates and pastes, which they put into a container and cut into a bucket of water."
