"This place is great! It looks very run down but dont be put off, you’ll dine on 4 courses like a King for €50 for 2. No menus, just the specials of the day. We had fresh seafood salad to start, with beautiful salmon, tuna and swordfish carpaccio, followed by spaghetti vongole and flash fried catch of the day. The meal was rounded off with fresh lemon ice cream. You have to go here."

"The staff was very welcoming, and because of the intense heat outside, we thought we had found a gem. The first drinks came right away. However, because there was suddenly such a HUGE lunch crowd (I think several tour buses arrived), the service suddenly went DOWNHILL. The food took a bit longer, which didn't bother us at all because it was delicious. After that, getting another drink or more water was like pulling teeth. We literally asked for our check THREE separate times and were still left waiting. We had to get up and start to leave before our check finally arrived. By that time, we had wasted too much time eating and waiting. We did not have enough time to see the famous gardens of Villa d'Este. By the way, the check was much higher than we had anticipated, so that was also unpleasant."

"Since Sibilla , our intended restaurant close by , was fully booked for the next 3 evenings, our B and B host suggested this place as the alternative. Please bear with the list of what did not go right on our last evening in Tivoli : 1. Water bottle came with a floating insect sent back). 2. Wine was not poured after tasting, ice bucket must be requested for the white wine. 3. Staff member vaping , not busy serving 4. Kitchen staff passing through the dinning area. 5. After our first course we were asked if we wanted desert! 6. The first course of paccheri was refused to me claimed that it ran out) but the table of next to us was served the dish 7. Sea bream came as sea bass and filleted with plenty of bones left at this moment hangry daughter couldn’t be bothered to complain) 8. Hubby asked for “saignant” steak but got an over done piece of meat sent back and eventually got what he ordered. All this shared while still at the table and will stop here without main course but instead ask for the bill. DO NOT waste your time and money here if you do not want to be disappointed."
