"My family had a wonderful morning tea at the Capital Tea Room. Amazing hot chocolate the best in Canberra during my stay! My husband raved about the fish cakes. My parents raved about the banana bread! Lovely owner also! I highliy recommend popping into this cafe for a visit. Or if you visit Cockington Gardens as its just across the road!"

"We visited here as a group of 13 for my sisters birthday dinner, the staff were very lovely and took our orders well, when the food arrived it tasted amazing, larger meals and very very impressive! It exceeded our expectations.My nan was arriving very late and we ordered a take away meal for her, the staff were more jan happy to cook it for a specific time.We truly enjoyed our meal and will be returning here in future."

"Iam not sure if they think , they are serving food for free,,, I once had take way,,, lady was not particularly polite then on my second visit , i stepped in 8:45 pm on friday into a empty restaurant only to be told..., that they will only do take away's i was like really!!!!! and walked to Ginger n Spice on corner , who were more than welcome to have me"

"When: Early weekday evening<br/ For: 2 people<br/ Order and Rating /5 :<br/ <br/ Deluxe Sashimi Plate $58 : Scallops extremely creamy and to die for! Thick slices of fish King, Salmon, Tuna . They also had two other varieties sliced clams I think which were an interesting texture but very tasteless. Plating of the dish was beautiful. Next time, I'd rather just order my favourites separately. 3.5 <br/ <br/ Wagyu and Truffle Sauce $21 : 6 small cubed portions, topped with some fresh herb/vegetable and garlic, and drizzled with truffle sauce. I personally didn't taste much of the truffle, but my partner did. The wagyu was lacking and required quite a bit of chewing. I'll be honest, I can get a better texture with a cheap cut of steak at medium to rare. Perhaps they overcooked this dish. 2 <br/ <br/ Tempura Vegetables $15 : Good batter and very crispy! Doesn't beat the tempura in Japan but that's totally understandable. The dipping sauce seemed like a diluted soy sauce and could have been slightly stronger and sweeter. Vegetables included eggplant, asparagus, assorted mushrooms, sweet potato, and leek. 3 <br/ <br/ Grilled Salmon and Prawn Tempura Roll $21 : Decent and yummy. I can't really pinpoint what was lacking. Perhaps it was the smokey flavour from the flame torch that you would usually get with aburi style sushi. I'd still order this again, but I'd rather try out other options first. For now, Oishii does it better unfortunately. 3.5 <br/ <br/ Lemon Ice Tea $4 : It's like Lipton lemon ice tea! Technically no faults with this for the price. 5 <br/ <br/ All of the dishes came out relatively fast and the service was nice. Service isn't something I'm picky about. I would come again! 3.5 <br/ <br/ Do note that the menu on Zomato and their Facebook aren't recent anymore. There's been a price increase for some of the dishes. A lot of the dishes from the Zomato menu that aren't on the Facebook menu are actually still available."
