"I booked with The Fork for 10.30pm. The reservation was confirmed, but when I arrived I was told that the kitchen closes at 9.30pm (I arrived 10 minutes early). They also canceled the reservation when I left the venue, preventing me from leaving a review on The Fork. It's a shame because I've been to this place before and the food was excellent, but on this occasion their behavior was truly unprofessional. I would add that even today if I wanted to book with The Fork during the week at 10.30pm I could do so. I don't dispute the fact that a restaurant closes the kitchen at 9.30pm, I dispute the fact that I was allowed to book at a certain time and that only once I got there was I told that the kitchen was closed. I've been using The Fork for a while and I know that a reservation needs to be confirmed by the venue, and as I said, the reservation had been confirmed. This is incorrect. So I reiterate my review. Not on the quality of the food, which in the past was excellent, but on the service received. For completeness I attach screenshots with booking confirmation.
