"Been searching for decent Chinese food on the Gold Coast for years. Moved to Tugun recently and decided to give this one a go. Finally found it!! Lovely staff, friendly, fast service. Beautiful, fresh food, sauces were tasty but not heavy like some Chinese can be. Best to book a table if going on the weekend.. we arrived just after opening and scored the last table. Only thing missing from the menu is duck. Will definitely be back!"

"We came here for a couple of drinks and some dinner. The club itself is really good and the staff friendly. It was nice and warm with a food atmosphere. We ordered the food which was from the specials board. The chowder was so bad and tasted so sttrongly of garlic that my wife left it after just 2 spoons. I had the vindaloo and the meat was very tough and tasted very powdery and the side salad just didn't match it and I also left this meal after only a few mouthfulls. Thank goodness that I ordered a side if chips which also came with gravy as the grave was the best thing aboutt the whole meals as the chips were just acceptable with grave as they had obviously been cooked in old oil. The waitress must have known how bad the food was as ahe did not even ask us why we had left the meals when she collected the plates. Very disapointing and it was definately not a chef or even an experienced cook that cooked the food on this Saturday night. This is definately the worst food we have tasted not only at the Gold Coast but in Australia."

"We arrived at Luna Rossa around 5:15 pm to be told after we ordered that they wouldn't be starting to cook for 25 mins and that they could deliver to us for an extra charge per each meal. I think about A$6.00. We opted for waiting. Cant understated why you would open for business that you are not ready to cook then. Anyhow the pizzas looked good. But unfortunately lacked taste and the dough became chewy like rubber very quickly. The mussel pasta with only three mussels was edible but not worth it. Sorry but disappointed with the end result."

"Is it a restaurant or a night club? Music was way too loud to talk to each other and I wouldn’t consider the volume and music choice family friendly especially as we were dining with elderly parents. Waitress did however ask if the music was too loud and said she would turn the speaker near our table down, which of course- she didn’t. We were taken to our table by a dis interested and stressed looking hostess. Table was not set and didn’t have 5 seats as per our reservation and table and chairs were wet from the water feature on the wall. Hostess didn’t seem to care and we were left to find our own cloth to clean up before we could actually sit down. Food doesn’t even compare to sister restaurant Bonita Bonita and they had run out of a lot of items on the menu, although cauliflower tacos were good- The rest of the food we ordered came to the table cold. Very disappointing experience and won’t be coming back."

"Got home with fish and chips, open them up... the chips were overcooked bordering on burnt, the overcooked batter on the beautiful piece of Goldband had ruptured rendering half the fillet overcooked and dry, the potatoe scallop was overcooked on the outside and under cooked within. I suggest that you turn the temp of your oil down and if you ruin someones $22 meal throw it out and start again NOT HAPPY AT ALL"
