"Great location, I wouldn't recommend. When someone who doesn't go to die, I often needed help to decrypt the menu that they seem to have not been enthusiastic about. not mentioning that all that sound good (including eating) was not on camp. another thing that is from the norm, in comparison to probably any coffee shop in America, is that the cream and sugar is behind the theke, so naturally they seemed to be annoyed on their request for some. that only strengthened why I generally stay away from this chain."

"My wife and I were called compass coffee for a good breakfast. they were right, this place was good. I had her signature biscuits and gravy, and my wife had a waffel with mixed berries and whipped cream. my biscuits were moist and fluffy. the heavy was amazing with a small amount of warmth. I didn't have to drown them in tabasco. the cuts make the dish really nice. presentation is beautiful and portions were perfect. the Belgian waffles were not too sweet and were well composed with fresh berries. a portion could be divided by two people. they made me a mocha that was better than any mocha I've ever had! this place is definitiw part of the hipster slash leaves vancouver more like portland places that pop up in the city. as long as they do not start to serve blue ribon with a side of long lines and server with settings that cares! we will soon return to this place!"
