"It?s just not the same under new ownership. Three times we?ve bought whole fish, which has smelled absolutely rancid in under 24 hours after squeezing lemon all over it and stuffing it with herbs to marinate. When you go in to the shop and even ifyou?re only looking for seafood, make a point to look at the produce?it?s on the cusp of being rotten. What a shame."

"Although not fancy, there is a real island vibe that Cyril and his staff provide that we find to be just like we are vacationing in the Caribbean. We have gone there about 30 times in the past 4 summers. They are great with my fish eating kids, we enjoy lunch and dinners there, and us adults will often go later on for some more fun. And what a convenient walk from the Seacrest, where we spend 2 separate weeks each summer. Cyril himself is a legend in our minds, he is so friendly and we will se him for diner on June 28th, 2008 for dinner and probably about 5 other times that week!!!!! Go and relax, my 13 year old recommends the lobster and clam chowder and the consistency over the years of the freshness and quality of all of the food...if it is not fresh, they will not offer it!!!!"

"The service was slow; the menu was limited, and the wine was overpriced, but what really put us off was the noise. You could not have a conversation. The waitress could not hear our order. It was impossible to relax. Everyone was yelling. It was purgatory. You could have a better meal at McDonalds."

"This was one of worst meals I have ever had the misfortune of eating in rhe Hampton 's !!!!My pasta appetizer was greasy and the pasta was under cooked not Al dente !!! The main course was equally disappointing. I made the mistake of thinking that grilled chicken would be a safe choice, I was wrong !!! The chicken looked like it had been pre-grilled and frozen then microwaved before being served. It was horrible !!!! I was with three other quests and they also were mortified by their selections. Over cooked skirt steak, tasteless pasta dishes, dry fish and Dariy Queen , desserts finished off this travety.There should be a warning notice outside, Toxic waste being served inside !!!"
