"The bar at echo point was very accomodating. It was a very foggy day and there wasn’t much of a view but the staff made all the difference with our dietary requests and outdoor seating with heaters on in the middle of March. Adam was also very lovely in answering our questions, finding out information we needed and taking our orders. Would highly recommend this bar for both food and customer service (and no doubt good views on a less foggy day)."

"Walked in and was shocked at the prices $9.5 a pie) however the pies were very big and filled with ingredients. Tiny tomato sauce packs at 50 cents each is definitely a rip off, when you pay that much for a pie you should get one pack for free. Ordered an eclair and brownie as well. The brownie was decent and the eclair was huge and filled with a yummy hazelnut cream. Hopefully when things go back to some sort of normal they can bring their prices back down as we'd definitely like to try it again."

"This is a good formal restaurant located within Fairmont Resort. The dinner menu offers $65 for 2 courses and $82 for 3 courses. The presentation of every dish is beautiful. The mains are quite sensational. The Chef's Wagyu Beef served with smoked paris mash is utterly delicious. I would highly recommend to get the cheese board for dessert the serving size is generous enough to feed 3! The assorted cheese taste amazing with artisan crackers, fresh figs and dried grapes. The service however is a bit below average, mainly because it is hard to get their attention during the course, errors on the bill and we can feel their stress level. I think they are understaffed, hence the pressure. Otherwise, it is a pleasant dining experience."

"Couldn’t have eggs Benedict because they ‘ ran out of ham’ at 10 am). Eating with a group of four. Meals came out spaced apart. After waiting 30 minutes had to ask where my meal was- they had obviously forgotten me! Terrible coffee! The...cafe wasn’t even busy- half full. Will not be going back. They are plenty of other cafes to choose from in Katoomba."
