"We were very disappointed having had good food there last year. The menu is restricted due to Corona virus. She had pulled pork sandwich with the soup. I had the Southwestern chicken panini. Both were terrible. First the buns were over cooked and somewhat burned...and neither were tasteful. I politely mentioned it to the sever who was just doing her job. I asked for the dessert menu and it to was restricted. I opted for the carrot cake which when she delivered it said it was on the house due to the poor lunches we had. After two bites of the cake I could not eat it as it was do heavy it could have been used as a boat anchor. All to say we pondered if Alices has lost their cool and their way. It has gone down hill and certainly not worth the drive to Carp!"

"My partner and I ordered take out from Juke Joint for the first time this past weekend, and it was excellent! The server working Saturday night was extremely friendly. The food was AMAZING! We ordered fish tacos, the spicy shug pickle burg, and fried pickle chips. The kitchen staff did an outstanding job. We will definitely be back!"

"We first tried a dish by Eldon?s at Taste of the Glebe. So good. We visited last weekend and were not disappointed. The food is fabulous and the interior is very relaxed and friendly. The owners are a young couple who are obviously putting everything they can into this restaurant. They deserve to succeed as this place is a true gem. An update: we recently went for brunch at Eldon?s. It was the best brunch I have ever had in Ottawa. Homemade breads, pork belly, perfectly cooked eggs, to die for!"
