"Update Jan 13, 2022 Lunch Dinner is back at Lakewood Cafe in Rowlett, TX! I came to breakfast, but ended up with a fantastic Mediterranean salad! Who produces the products here always gets the best quality I have seen everywhere! Everything was perfect. Maybe you have yellow paprika on the side. I love pepperroncini, but they are hard to get fresh. People don't like them because they never had a good fresh pepperoncini. But you can fake it with small yellow paprika. I'm digressing... wartesting is excellent here. Of course, food for hungry people is a winner. You have a good time with it. So all the restaurants should run. The other factor is the kitchen. These guys know how to cook and do every job with care. This is a nice, clean plant, only wish it was bigger. On weekends it is packed with locals and families. The mall owner should add a veranda here. Parking is large enough. Update December 14, 2021 Another great meal in this humble little café in Rowlett, Texas. Always clean, staff is pleasant and confident, they really like their work, the quality food served. What could ever go wrong? Good meals good tips. Quality of food service success! I also ordered Blueberry pancakes, 3 stacks, berries inside and above. Here too, the quality of the fruits is beyond most other restaurants. Menu has a wide selection of dishes! Gourmet salads, fresh fruit, also Lo-Cal. I started with baked potato soup, it was great. The Cuban sandwich was a Texas variant. Cuba, TX is now a ghost town.... down from Nueces River, not source of this classic Hamwich . The Cuban exiles brought it to Miami. The Cuban sandwich will also add some paprika peppers with ham, fat roasted pork, Swiss cheese, pickles, mustard, on Cuban bread like French baguette! This Rowlett version has been grilled chicken breast, ham, float, Chipotle Mayo, Pickles, on Ciabatta. Lean medium, quality ingredients...........It was only missing the fat caramelization of pork, which squeaked the pickles yellow mustard on soft baguette bread. A real Havana/Miami Cuban sandwich makes you Drool before, during and after! Nuff said! Staff was pleasantly helpful, the manager said he was from Tombstone, AZ we will see Ropa Vieja on the menu? "Okay, my wife and I are here for the first time. It was a decent crowd here. I have noticed most ordered to go orders. We ordered and pulled through the line pretty fast. The portions went down in Sise. Would suggest some kind of meat marker, so I knew what the other options were. This place seems to be smaller for some reason. It seems the toilets have the front area. I like the view of the seating area with rust-free tables and wood-plated chairs. The terrace is also beautiful My wife ordered Hard Shell Tacos and I went for bowl and drinks $22. The price seems a bit high for what we bought, but it was our first visit. I'll say the ingredients were very good and fresh. I liked the taste of steak and wife enjoyed her chicken. The guacamole and rice were actually more in taste than the other ingredients. The staff was busy and everyone seemed to do his job. Most tables really needed attention and floors that are needed to be cleanly thrown by garbage. I waited until a young lady finally came out and wiped the tables. No one touched the floors while we were there. I made pictures from inside, but waited until the young lady had wiped the tables. I like having other possibilities in the city next to Fast Food Burgers."

"My son and I came to dinner. We were immediately seated and served. The restaurant and staff are very clean and friendly. The food came out fast and hot. "Service was amazing that the best part was. eating was not a spice or taste. read a commentary about the not so delicious chips and salsa and the smell of the ortes. both were sadly true. with a little more work this could be a great place. I do not recommend it now. quite expensive for quality."
