"Being a fan of the yiros we called into the Capalaba branch for a quick lunch. Ordered vegetarian yiros with chilli sauce. The vegetarian patties were crispy on the outside soft inside loved the fact they had pumpkin in them. Plenty of fresh salad a few chips so that equates to a healthy lunch for me"

"Had the seafood basket and really enjoyed everything in it. Light and fresh with options for battered or crumbed on pretty much everything. The food is very good, but what got us over the line to an 'excellent' rating was the cleanliness and customer service. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. "I’d seen online that the Bloom Room had opened and was surprised to hear that it was managed by the Venzin Group who own Paw Paw Cafe, so naturally I decided to visit.<br/ <br/ I ordered the Mixed Mushroom dish and was really happy with the meal. The mushrooms were juicy and the kale was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The poached eggs were soft and runny and the goats cheese mousse was delicious.<br/ <br/ I really liked my meal and would come back to have it again. The atmosphere of the cafe was really nice and the flower ceiling ups the trend factor. Enjoy"

"I’m old enough to remember the original Inn in the city. The ridiculously airy cakes that nearly floated off your plate; the dumb waiter down to the kitchen below; the pots if tea to go with your cake. This is the memory. The modern day...coffee houses that display the name still have the charm, but coffee has become the beverage of choice. Baristas are the essence of any great coffee. I’m not sure if they all get the same training, but the Capalaba Shingle Inn always delivers a fabulous cup. Just the right temp for it to be hot but creamy smooth. The food selection has well and truly changed over time. My favourite sinful treat with coffee is the sour cherry and almond loaf. Served warm, it is just a divine accompaniment to my coffee. They do a yummy Goodness bowl for the more health conscious. Will definitely fill you up for the day. The service is fast and friendly. It can get quite busy on the weekend. Always worth the wait fir a great coffee. Prices are about average for the coffee and the food. If you have a main meal and a coffee, you wont get much change out of $20. That said, you will definitely leave knowing you’ve been fed and watered. This is my regular Saturday morning haunt....and Sunday if I can get there. Enjoy!"

"We have been visiting this Takeaway for about 20 years and have always found the food and service to be excellent. Tonight I ordered two pieces of grilled Sea Perch, paid for two and got three - beautifully cooked and just at the "Melt in the mouth stage." Yum! The hamburgers also are fantastic value for money and they taste great as well.Will we be back for more - count on it!"

"Absolutely the most appalling store. They get every order wrong every time we go there. Today we ordered a family dinner box.
