"Stopped here for a quick snack late afternoon on our way back to Calais. Although Monsieur was shutting up shop he rustled up a couple of barquettes of chips for us which we ate outside by the river. There is a large covered terrace at the back and a couple of tables on the front roadside.The interior is covered in Monsieur's own artwork, mostly famous musicians. It is every much cheap cafe style, but not bad for that. Two large barquettes of chips and two drinks were 13euros, and we were grateful to find somewhere open at 15.30! Not a place for a dining experience, but friendly and great for a quick snack or kids meals."

"We were on the road from Calais to the south and, using Tripadvisor, found this unassuming pizzeria. Good pizza, parking was easy and staff were really helpful and friendly."

"Stayed in the town for a couple of days and could have starved if we had not found this place. Visited on a Sunday evening and there were two other English couples and one French lady. Perhaps the French do not eat out in Arcis...The menu choice was very good with three levels of fixed price and a good á la carte and wine list. We chose from the 23.50 Euro option and had a good bottle of wine for around 13 Euros. The food was good and the service attentive"

"Nice little castle, but very dark room with far too much furniture. Reading lights were missing. The place could become a fantastic gem with a little tidying up inside/outside, and more structure at check in, kitchen and staff. Possibility of charging an electric car at a very expensive rate! "The restaurant was a short walk from the Villa Primerose and we visited on a Saturday evening. The service was good and three of us ordered pizza and a one a fillet of chicken. All meals were enjoyed and special mention to the calzone, which had potato, ham and egg inside delicious. The evening we visited, a blues/rock duo were playing which was a bonus. Our meal for four, with beer, cola and water came to €50. We would visit this restaurant again."
