"I was pretty sure that I would enjoy the whiskys at the last word (a whisky lover and long-time SMWS member), but I really enjoyed the cocktails! cory and charles were both fantastic, and we ensured that we would visit a second time before the trip. will be back!"

"Not very Grand. The roast potatoes were soggy, the food was cold. I wasn't told when booking that we would only have half an hour to eat before it closed. Most of the desserts tasted like they had been either bought in or made from a packet. It was rather disappointing when the Grand Cafe is surpose to be the best buffet in Christchruch. The best part was the steamed vegetables and fish."

"Nice cafe for coffees and snacks. Went there today, ordered hot chocolate, didn’t like it as it was not that chocolatey so didn’t drink that one. Asked the guy at counter to make one more and he happily made another one which was really good. So, totally happy with the service."

"Great place for a coffee, I have enjoyed their ambience and absolutely amazing coffee. It's a shame the chicken and cranberry bagel is no longer available. Great service nice small corner for the toddlers. Friendly staff and great service. Love it, it's my local."
