"I pass by here to visit family regularly. Every so often I’m asked to pick some fish and chips along the way. It’s a small unassuming place on a very small high street. There never seems to be any fish precooked ready to take away, which is a good thing. It means it’s cooked to order which they do very well. Moist and flaky on the inside, crispy batter on the outside. The large cod they serve is huge, good enough for two people whilst a large chips will serve three. The regular fish are a good size too. It’s pretty good value too."

"The staff are very friendly and the food is lovely . We have had Chinese food from here too. The chips,rice and curry sauce are really filling for a lunchtime meal. Not very easy to park outside but worth a walk."
