"Going to start by saying I did not eat my pizza right out of the oven, so my review is based off of grabbing a couple slices to go and bringing it back to the hotel. After doing some research, I found this restaurant and was very interested in trying the pizza after reading reviews. I 'm originally from NY, so really enjoy some 'NY pizza ' since I don 't live in NY anymore. Slices were big, pizza crust was thin, great flavor! My only thing was the dough was a little rubbery. Would I go back again?..yes! It did taste really good and service was great."

"Good food, great atmosphere. Had a late lunch here on a Sunday afternoon, party of five, place mostly to ourselves. Ordered guacamole to start, a generous portion and very tasty. Had a traditional Mexican taco, and Chili Rellenos plate, good and tasty. Service was very slow, had to ask a couple times for more water, more chips and to get our check. And there was only one other table, so not like they were busy. The decor is fantastic, interesting, loved the chandeliers, very comfortable."

"I flippy love mod pizza!!! If you want a place, you can cook pizza in fire as it is accepted, and as many toppings as you want, without charge, then this place is for you!! You calculate varies on the sizes of pizzas only there is no charge for extra toppings!!!! Customer service was also a plus that is great!! P.s this local bath is also connected to the Panera, so if you have a family that stretch several things boom two birds with a stone!!"

"A very tasty restaurant! There were vegan options that are pretty, as not all restaurants in us have some. We wanted to go to another place, but finally found this one that was less expensive and local. The guy who took our job was super sweet. You can eat outside, it's nice."

"My wife and I are Italian Americans who were born and raised in the Bronx and remained in the NY area until relocating to Charleston in October 21. We have been making the rounds of top Charleston restaurants of which there are many. However we were hesitant to try Italian. Yes we are food snobs especially with Italian food. My wife is an excellent cook and we have been to Italy many times. Eat Italian in South Carolina, ugh! Well we took the plunge at Melfi’s and came away fans. Great thin crust pizza shared as appetizer. My wife Caico de Pepe and my linguine with clams both superb. Excellent cocktails, nice wine list , delicious deserts and service you would expect in such a fine restaurant by John (who also happened to be an Italian American from the Bronx) all this takes place in a 200 year old building located on upper King Street. Great atmosphere. Would not hesitate to return or recommend! Well done!"

"All right! I have chips and Guac, lobster enchiladas, cheesecake and a jam of all the best food I've ever had! I'm out of town, but I have to order the same things when I ever return, they were so good. I recommend sharing an app and having a duck. The interior is also very sweet and trendy large for groups, friends, couples, etc. I would strongly recommend this place to everyone!"
