"These youngs delivered us with donuts for our high time on 25 March 2022 and they were amazing, they had glazed in the color of our high-time theme and the detailing including the edible funnel was fantastic. all the guests rushed by to get them and all said they were delicious, would definitely recommend for high times or parties and will be repeatedly for their doughnuts when we go to see family in telford."

"We were fans of the Olive Tree and we are even bigger fans of its new image as Bevans. Stopped off for a quick bit of lunch and were only planning on having a main, however the starters were so intriguing we had to go for them too. Food was all terrific, the pie was absolutely top notch. Honestly couldn't fault it, even the mushy peas were old school, soaked overnight type that you just don't see any more. We stopped off a second time for a few pints, parked up in the window to watch the world go by. We didn't eat on the second occasion but did nose at what others were having. Some brilliant smells, golden brown pies, crispy looking fish and chips etc Really looking forward to my next visit"

"My man and I were invited to our friends for a special evening party in the lion hotel. I have to say we had a brilliant time. we enjoyed the food and entertainment. the service was impeccable. I would like to send my special thanks to the general manager josephina who was there to ensure that all in the restaurant were happy by the guests to the personal. it was nice to chat with her and we will surely be back for another dinner party. "An incredible experience. The staff were amazing from the moment we walked in; friendly, attentive and couldn't be more helpful with any questions about the dishes, oh the dishes. The food is absolutely superb. There is a great variety of dishes with a specials menu too everything we had was cooked fresh and delicious, very authentic to Spanish cooking and couldn't have been happier with my first time at this restaurant."

"Fabulous vegan tasting menu!I was really appreciative that the chef created a vegan tasting menu for my partner. Really hard to get in restaurants of this calibre, whilst still letting me enjoy the normal tasting menu. Only other restaurants where we’ve managed to do this are The Fat Duck, Le Manoir Aux Quat’Saisons The Kitchin. The Fat Duck still holds the number one spot for us, but The Walrus comes in at an easy second place of the 4. The scallop tartare were the favourite courses for me whilst my partner loved the crispy tofu lasagne of mushroom courses best. This chefs, Ben Carla are true geniuses with sauce creation matching, The accompanying Wine Tour was perfect too, with the Austrian Riesling and Gruner Veltliner being our favourite.Make a trip to Shrewsbury especially for this restaurant, it really is worth it!"
