"Dirty tablecloth, unfriendly service. The map torn, written with fat stains from top to bottom and also and insane on old paper. Then I just ordered a drink and got a standing Cola. I complained about it and made it good! Unbelievable. Best 0 stars."

"Me and my girlfriend spent a lovely night there. The housewife was very kind and helpful. Our room was big, cozy and very clean. The restaurant is atmospheric, our breakfast was generous and tasty."

"We had dinner there and sat outside in the courtyard. There was a pleasant breeze and we were very comfortable. Both the food and service were excellent. I had black forest cake for dessert and it was absolutely delicious. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. If I was staying in Rothenburg multiple nights I'd be happy to eat there every night."

"We came to the town for a day because we had a long journey. Beautiful historical town which is ‘famous about food, wine and hospitality’. We liked this place from outside so went in for a drink as we had dinner earlier. When the waitress...have heard that we would like to have only a drink we got a corner spot by the door which is fine if she wasn’t been rude. We were talking in English however I didn’t know it would be a problem in a place where the tourism is an important part of the life. I felt absolutely uncomfortable when the waitress (especially one, the other 2 were neutral) was grumpy,unwelcoming and arrogant. I thought it is just an accident but when she was making faces, talking about us with the college and the owner/or manager was watching us constantly It made me think. I used to work as a waitress too and I would got fired if I discriminated anybody because of language, race, age or any other differences. Wasn’t happy with the service at all."
