"Cyclist. I thought the kitchens weren't open yet. Ouf the chef makes me feel better and can prepare a quiche that I am accompanied by a good blonde beer. Top after 150km. The must is that I was able to recharge my bike counter at home with their cable they wanted to lend me. Genial!"

"FONCEZ !!! A nice little card, home products, affordable prices. Copious and delicious dishes, a piece of beef that melts under the tooth! A very smiling and kind waitress. Nothing to say again! Not to test it is to deprive yourself of a good meal. Thanks again for this moment."

"Excellent surprise after two other restaurants were unable to accommodate 5 people for lunch in Sancerre with a week advanced notice. After Covid-19 this restaurant has come back to gain a deserved place in top restaurants list of the area. The service,in a sophisticated elegant setting was excellent. The food was delicious offering fresh regional options on beautifully displayed plates. The Chef accommodated a vegeterian member of our group with an astonishing as well as delicious option. We will certainly make advance reservation for lunch when we return to Sancerre."

"A small traditional and good value French bistro with friendly staff and a short but interesting menu using high quality local ingredients. We went there three times during our six nights in Sancerre. The steaks are nicely cooked, and the Rognons excellent, nice charcuterie and...crottins."

"We saw a few less than favorable reviews regarding this restaurant and just have to say, comme ci, comme ca. Incredibly romantic old inn setting. Son seats and serves, mother cooks (and knits on couch in the lobby later in the evening when kitchen is done). 25 euro prix fixe dinner menu could not have been a better value, regardless of whether or not you think every course is the best you ever had. Very fun/creative menu that delivers exactly what it claims it will. Would absolutely eat here again."

"We ate here on a whim as it was getting late and it was the first place we came across. As it turned out, the food and wine were both absolutely delicious and excellent value for money. In particular the quality and cooking of the meat was absolutely spot on. The dining room was quiet but relaxed with a nice atmosphere, and the service was good. I wish we lived closer, we'd definitely make this a regular haunt."

"This place is what small town France is all about. The food is simple, but everything is done right, which you don't see a lot in bigger, more commercial restaurants.
