"We stopped for lunch whilst passing through the area, picked this S it was in sight of ample parking for our motorcycles, it had kerb appeal and appeared the locals were using it. Had a light lunch food a coffee were of a good standard, clean restaurant good facilities and the young waiter was very helpful and attentive. It appears to be in the centre of town on a square which has an impressive arched gate house across from the restaurant. When we were there they were just clearing up a Saturday morning market, it's l Good lunch stop."

On ne lasse pas de l’écouter parler avec amour de son métier"

"This is a very good provincial restaurant. Seating is comfortable and decor smart a combination of modern and traditional. The food is interesting and portions generous. Flavours are bold and clean with inventive use of spices: the veal three ways was a particularly successful dish. The mostly local cheeses had been kept well. The wine list contains a wide selection from the Loire, providing a combination of well known and unusual vignerons. The availability of good quality rooms at the hotel associated with the restaurant makes this a good venue for a stop over on a drive south."
