"This was our 2nd visit to the hotel and restaurant. The first was before Covid. I arrived a bit grumpy after an annoying 1 hour wait at immigration at Ouisterham. We had booked the family room on the first floor and the very kind lady at reception offered us an upgrade but we decided to stay where we were. The room was comfortable with an excellent shower, plenty of room and fresh air. As dinner approached we could smell the wonderful cooking. This did not bother us a bit but increased our anticipation. No Foie Gras cerise lollipops this time but the canapés were very good. Dinner was lovely and attended by a mixture of locals sampling the Jour de Jour menu and we had the carte tasting . Asparagus with fresh Morilles stuffed with foie gras, scallops marineé, smoked pike eggs, ris de veau and turbot. Many delightful surprises within the meals too playful and inventive and made us smile. ! Madame Proprietor and her chef husband were very friendly and we felt welcome. The road quietened down at night and we had a good sleep. Breakfast the next day also lovely. I didn’t take any photos off my dinner but the photos of breakfast including a wonderful pistachio cake should show the quality generally. We will definitely return hopefully in time for the Spa immigration permitting!! Merci!"

"Nous y avons manger hier soir en famille , tres bel endroit , tres propre , les serveurs et serveuses sont tres accueillants , souriants et gentils !! Les assiettes sont tres bien presenter et ce fut excellent et les desserts on en reprendrais bien un derriere tellement c était super bon !!!"

"When in Bagnoles we always visit this cafe because we know that we will be greeted by friendly staff and their range of drinks will have something for everyone. This cafe is also ideal for a snack, should you feel the need. However, the waiter is 'brilliant'!!!!! He looks after all the table for both food and drink, never writes anything down, and people get what they ordered, promptly. Great service, Great location - give it a try!!!!"
