"Delightful experience. Excellent food, very courteous service. We came in at 7:30PM on a rainy Saturday, with no reservations. On a very ashamed way, they said we could have dinner, but we should leave by 9PM, since the restaurant was full from that time on. So, we had a remarkable 1:30 hour will lots of good food that included pasta, seafood, salads and a marvelous desert and very, very friendly service. At 9PM when we left the then totally full dinning room, the whole family that operates the restaurant was apologizing for not being able to entertain us even more. No sense to apologize for anything. We have to thank them very much for this incredible evening. An experience which, by itself, makes it worth to visit Genoa. Grazi tanti!"

"I was there with a bunch of friends in occasion of one of those high school reunion, where the food is just the mere excuse to gather. Well, I have to say it was indeed the main actor in the night. A number of sarters, of excellent quality, with which we have savoured the white wine the host proposed us got us ready for the dinner. Three first courses, incredible for taste and quantity, have been selected among a much wider variety. We got the ravioli al sugo (meat sauce. No, not the Alfredo , or Bolognesa , or whatever you may think about. This is the real deal! ; Homemade tasty! , pansoti al sugo di pinoli (pinenuts sauce pansoti , typicalli genoese, easier to taste than to describe ; and tortellii di patate al pesto (I 'll simply give up on this translation, you gotta take my word they were really a treat! . The wine was a really savory barbera, perfect companion for all of this. The main course for the most of us was fried porcini mushrooms, whilst someone aimed for the fried seafood. None of the choices has disappointed. On the contrary we were soooo enthusiast! The only regret I have is that I was so stuffed I didn 't dare to take any dessert, but the best of us got one and confirmed the quality was absolutely in line with the rest of the dinner. One final note on the venue, small and cozy, perfect both for a bunch of friends as we were and for more intimate dinners, and for the owner, who really proved to be an exquisite host, who kindly advised and entertained us all through the evening, with taste and discretion. All in all a highly recommended visit, both for the locals, but even more for tourists, form Italy and abroad, who whish to have a taste of the good traditional food, prepared in a perfect way, with top notch ingredients!"
